“You are living on a planet spinning around the middle of outer space, and you’re either worried about your blemishes, the scratch on your new car, of the fact that you burped in public. It’s not healthy.”

I knew it was coming for quite some time.
It doesn’t take a fool
To read between the lines.
It will get better.
Things will change.
It’s what I told myself
To push away the pain.
I knew it was coming.
But how does one prepare?
For the lonely nights
And the lingering despair.
Or, so I’ve heard.
Perfectionism is a tricky monster. It breeds fear of good, fear of great, fear of exceptional, fear of anything less than perfect.
It can keep you from creating and keep you from doing things that you enjoy.
Perfect isn’t real.
If it is, then it’s boring.
So, I’ll do “good’ instead.
